Updated 1/11/21

Hello NCF family!

With the return to church, we want to refresh our guidelines with you for a safe and healthy return.

  • If you are at risk, have symptoms, or been near someone with symptoms (for 15 min or more) please stay home, away from church and other people.  We will continue to offer our services online for those who are unable to attend.
  • If your Life Group chooses to meet, please understand the possible risks and take as many precautions as possible. There is greater risk when more time is spent in close proximity to others (homes, cars, etc...)  Small groups may have less people, but as a general rule are in closer contact than when at church.
  • People who choose to attend in-person services should move to their destination(s) as quickly as possible after entering the building and then the same for exiting after services and classes are over to avoid congregating in the foyer.   The elders highly recommend wearing masks when entering and exiting the building, but we do not require them.
  • Please consider the safety of others as you make your gathering choices.

Here is a summary of our Sunday schedule.  For a more detailed description of our current offerings please see the General Information section below.

Sunday School at 10am for all ages

Church Service at 11am in the sanctuary.

Please remember we offer 3 choices to worship

  • On-line livestream
  • APR livestream protected area (APR is masks required)
  • Service in the Sanctuary

In ALL things, whether you are a mask wearer or a non-mask wearer, a hunker downer or a herd immunity builder, even as Republicans and Democrats, Christians are called to put others above themselves. That Christ like-humbleness seems to be in short supply in the COVID era. Consider Paul's words to the church in Philippi, in our lifetime they have never held as much meaning as they do today.

Imitating Christ’s Humility

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

GENERAL INFORMATION

SUNDAY SERVICES:

  • Children's and Adult's 10am Sunday school classes are meeting in person. Please send a mask with your child.  They will not be required to wear it when coming to worship time at the beginning of class.  However, after worship they will be passing through the APR (the masks required section of the church) and they will need to wear the masks then.  They may also need it if they are doing an activity that requires close contact with other students.
  • The nursery is open during the 10am & 11am hours! Due to the nature of the nursery ministry and the importance of facial expressions when comforting young children masks will not be required in the nursery.
  • When we meet in-person for the 11:00 service, seating in the Sanctuary is every other row leaving some space between family groups.  The elders highly recommend wearing masks when entering and exiting the building, but we do not require them.   We ask that everyone leave the building promptly after the service and do any visiting outside.  The APR will be set-up for live-streaming for anyone who prefers masks to be worn the entire time.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAMS:

  • Bible Adventure Club will resume on Wednesday evenings in January.  More details will follow soon.
  • SALT meets Wednesday evenings at NCF from 7:00-8:00pm (unless otherwise specified).  This is for students 5th-8th grade.  Please bring a mask.  Please contact Luke Porritt with any questions.
  • High School Youth Group meets Wednesday nights at NCF (unless otherwise specified) from 7:00-8:30pm. Large group meetings will take place in the Sanctuary & then in small groups after. Distancing is practiced during both the large group & the small group gatherings.  Please contact Brady Zimmer with any questions.

SATURDAY NIGHT PROGRAMS:

  • The Cabin will be meeting Saturday nights at 7:30pm.  Masks are required when entering & exiting the building and also when physical distancing cannot be practiced once inside.  Students are able to remove their masks and sit closely to other students who they are regularly in close contact with.  Seating can be in groups of students who are normally spending time together with distance between groups.  This for high school & college students.  Bring a friend!  Contact Brady Zimmer with any questions.
